High Wind Warning for San Diego County Mountains as of 3/2/24 6:00 a.m. to 3/3/24 12:00 p.m.
The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a High Wind Warning for San Diego County Mountains until 3/3/24.
- Damaging winds may blow down trees and power lines.
- Widespread power outages are possible.
- Strongest winds will be on the desert slopes of the mountains.
- Static wind speeds are forecast to be around 35 - 45 mph with isolated gusts up to 90 mph.
- Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use caution if you must drive.
- This storm may intensify, monitor local radio and television stations for additional information and other possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
