Border 32 Fire in Potrero, Tecate Now at 4,243 Acres
CAL FIRE officials reported this morning that the Border 32 Fire has increased in size to 4,243 acres and is 5% contained. Fire Crews worked through the night to slow the spread of the fire. More than 300 firefighters are continuing to fight the fire today and officials said weather will continue to be a challenge. San Diego County Sheriff’s ASTREA helicopters and CAL FIRE air resources are making water drops. Damage assessment teams are assessing structures. Sheriff’s deputies are patrolling the area to watch for suspicious activity and keep roads clear for firefighters.
The public is reminded to listen to authorities and follow orders for safety.

Incendio Forestal Denominado Border 32 Fire en Potrero, Tecate Ahora Abarca 4,243 Acres
Los funcionarios de CAL FIRE reportaron esta mañana que el Incendio denominado Border 32 Fire ha aumentado su tamaño a 4,243 acres y está contenido en un 5%. Los equipos de bomberos trabajaron durante la noche para frenar la propagación del incendio. Más de 300 bomberos siguen luchando contra el incendio hoy y los funcionarios dijeron que el clima seguirá siendo un desafío. Los helicópteros ASTREA del Alguacil del Condado de San Diego y los recursos aéreos de CAL FIRE están lanzando agua. Los equipos de evaluación de daños están evaluando las estructuras. Los diputados del Alguacil están patrullando la zona para vigilar la actividad sospechosa y mantener las carreteras libres para los bomberos.
