Flash flood warning and severe thunderstorm warning for east central San Diego County 8/14/22 until 5:30 p.m. today
The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a flash flood
warning for east central San Diego County until 5:30 p.m. today and a
severe thunderstorm warning until 4:15 p.m.
Life threatening flash flooding and thunderstorms are expected with heavy rain,
· Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
· It is important to know where you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become killers in heavy rains, particularly in hilly areas.
· There may be large hail and damaging winds, with gusts up to 60 mph
· Possible damage to roofs, siding, and trees
Some locations that may experience flash flooding include: Borrego Springs, Banner, S2, Hwy 78, Ocotillo Wells, Mount Laguna, Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, Shelter Valley, Agua Caliente, Ranchita, Agua Caliente, Canebrake, Lake Cuyamaca, Fish Creek Wash, Ranchita and Shelter.

El Servicio Meteorológico Nacional en San Diego ha emitido un aviso de inundación repentina para el centro este del Condado de San Diego hasta las 5:30 p.m. de hoy y un aviso de tormenta eléctrica severa hasta las 4:15 p.m.
Se esperan inundaciones repentinas y tormentas eléctricas que pongan en peligro la vida de las personas con fuertes lluvias.
· No conduzca su vehículo a través de las carreteras inundadas.
· Es importante saber dónde se encuentra en relación con los arroyos, ríos o riachuelos que pueden convertirse en asesinos en caso de fuertes lluvias, especialmente en las zonas montañosas.
· Puede haber granizo grande y vientos dañinos, con ráfagas de hasta 60 mph.
· Posibles daños en tejados, revestimientos y árboles.
